About Site Pulse

Site Pulse was born on the factory floor, not in a software office. We are one team with two roots: Synergo, with decades of hands-on experience in industrial project management, process engineering, and permit-to-work practice, and CM Software, bringing the engineering discipline to turn that knowledge into a platform that works as reliably as the safety procedures it supports.

Together, we build software for the people who actually use it: HSE managers, issuers, operators, and the contractors walking through the gate.

The founders

Co-founder, business & safety rules

Dirk Stoffberg

Dirk owns the safety logic behind Site Pulse: how permits, LOTO procedures, and approvals work in practice. He works directly with clients to make sure the platform fits the way real plants operate.

Co-founder, CM Software

Cobus Meyer

Cobus is the technical lead behind the Site Pulse platform, responsible for architecture, development, and deployment — secure, fast, and always available.

Co-founder, commercial

Rien Melis

Rien leads Site Pulse's commercial activities, building relationships with manufacturing and processing companies and making sure every engagement starts with a clear understanding of the client's safety practice.

Co-founder, organization & administration

Kees Vermaire

Kees keeps Site Pulse itself running smoothly — organizational structure, administration, and the internal foundations that let the rest of the team focus on clients and product.

Why we do this

We believe a work permit can be more than a safety document. Every permit tells a story: what work was done, where, by whom, under which conditions, and what happened along the way. On paper, that story disappears into a binder — after hours of capturing valuable information, never to be used again.

Digital, it works the other way around. Approvals happen in minutes instead of days, everyone sees the status in real time, and the permit becomes a database you can actually use — the starting point for failure analysis, spotting recurring problems, and making better decisions about maintenance, contractors, and risk.

Safety is where it starts. But an organization that digitizes its permits doesn't just work safer — it saves time on every job and learns from every job it executes. That's the value Site Pulse unlocks.
